Vegan Banana bread with apples
Hi all, today I want to talk about how to prepare a delicious Vegan Banana Bread with apples. It is easy and fast to prepare but the result is quite tasty.
– 300 g banana pulp, that is more or less 2 bananas
– 1/2 o 2 TBS of barley malt
– 180 g whole wheat. We used Maiorca but you can use the one you prefer
– 1 teaspoon of yeast
– 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate
– 1 pinch of salt
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– 1 coffee cup of sunflower oil
– 1,5 apples.
First of all you have to mix the bananas with malt and salt. You need to let the air in while you stir it in order to have a fluffy mixture.
On the side, mix the wheat with yeast and bicarbonate and cut the apples in small pieces.
Then slowly add the wheat to the mixed banana. Once you reach an homogeneous mixture, you can add the sunflower oil and the pieces of apples. After that you can pour it into a plum cake mold and level it off. I suggest you to cover the mold with a wet baking paper, so it will be easier to extract it after it is cooked. At this point, you are ready to insert into an oven, pre-heated at 180 degrees. Cooking time is around 35 minutes.
